School Leaver Transition Programs

At Vision Care, we understand how important the transition from school to adult life can be. That’s why we’ve partnered with local schools to deliver tailored School Leaver Transition Programs designed specifically for young adults nearing the end of their high school journey. These programs focus on building practical life skills, increasing independence, and preparing participants for everyday life beyond graduation — whether that’s further education, employment, or community participation. Our goal is to ensure each young person feels confident, supported, and ready for the next chapter.

Practical Skills Development & Hands-On Experience

As part of our School Leaver Transition Programs, Vision Care offers participants the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences designed to build essential life and employment skills. While these programs do not provide formal RTO certification, participants will receive an undergraduate-level, non-accredited certificate upon completion, recognising their involvement and achievement.

Areas of skill development include:

• Hair and Beauty – Practical work experience in salon environments.
• Car Detailing (Automotive) – Introduction to vehicle care and detailing techniques.
• Basic Food Handling – Safe food preparation and hygiene practices.
• Music Program – Creative expression and basic music production.
